SeverLink Showcase - A Love Letter to Classic Infiltration Games

Stealth games are one of my favorite genres. Being able of sneaking into a heavily guarded fortress to eliminate a target or steal important intel and disappear like a ghost is something no other genre can achieve.

Today we have an indie title which takes inspiration in iconic espionage games like Splinter Cell, Hitman, and Metal Gear Solid. Its name is SeverLink, and it's being developed and published by Chosen Bun.

It's not currently out, but the developer is planning in launching a demo on Steam soon, so you might want to wishlist it so you don't miss it.

Set in 201X, after a world-altering Y2K bug stalled technological progress, the game embraces a retro-futuristic aesthetic shaped by early-2000s hardware and culture.

Our protagonist—The Infiltrator— takes on a series of missions, each set in a unique, hand-crafted location with its own challenges and secrets: save a whistleblower on a train, slip onto a millionaire’s yacht, or break into an Alpine bunker.

Behind him stands KVASIR Group —a team of researchers, hackers, and activists fighting against corporate oppression by any means necessary. Think “labor union with a ninja squad”.
